Khaberni - His Majesty King Abdullah II attended the opening session of the Jordanian-Vietnamese Business Forum today, Thursday, in the capital, Hanoi.

His Majesty emphasized, during his speech, the importance of enhancing economic cooperation between the two countries, and benefiting from Vietnam's economic experience based on its advanced vision.

His Majesty pointed to the possibility for both countries to benefit from their investment strengths to achieve economic integration, and build an economic bridge between Southeast Asia, Europe, the Middle East, and Africa.

His Majesty also discussed the cooperation opportunities between the private sector institutions in both countries in the fields of pharmaceutical manufacturing, electronics, textiles, as well as in the technological, agricultural, and logistics sectors.

His Majesty highlighted the importance of building on the business forum, and setting a pathway through the exchange of visits, expertise, and institutional partnerships that ensure continuity and actionable results.

The forum brought together representatives of companies and chambers of industry and commerce in both countries to discuss mechanisms to enhance trade and investment cooperation and open new horizons for economic partnerships between private sector institutions.

The session was attended by the Director of His Majesty's Office, Engineer Alaa Batayneh, the Minister of Industry, Trade, and Supply Engineer Yarub Qudah, and the non-resident Ambassador of Jordan to Vietnam, Saed Radaideh.
