Khaberni - A circulating video on social media sparked wide controversy in Chile after it showed the country's president, Gabriel Boric, spinning around himself on more than one official occasion.

Some interpreted the scene as strange behavior, while others clarified that it resulted from the president's suffering from Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD), although Boric has not officially announced having the condition, those close to him confirm their awareness of it.

Social media activists quickly clarified, asserting that the president has been suffering from this disorder since childhood, and that the movements shown in the video are involuntary and natural emotional reactions, typically appearing in situations that require waiting or focusing for long periods.

Some defended him on "X", considering his behavior normal in the context of his health condition, and one of them wrote: "The president did nothing strange, he is just dealing with his disorder, as he has been accustomed to throughout his life".

It is noted that Boric is among the youngest world leaders, having assumed office in 2022 after a sweeping victory in the elections, and is known for his straightforward style and openness in discussing personal and psychological challenges he faces.

Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder is a chronic developmental neurological disorder that can affect children and adults, causing them difficulty in concentrating on tasks, inability to control impulses, tendencies to be overly active, yet, there are also many strengths and benefits that come with this condition.
