Khaberni - The Minister of Local Administration decided to reduce the bonuses and incentives allocation in the municipalities from 15% to 10% as part of Khaberni's instructions for preparing the 2026 budget, which caused a wide uproar among Jordanian municipality employees.
An employee told Khaberni that the decision means approximately a one-third reduction in bonuses, confirming that the municipalities were allocating 15% of their annual salaries to bonuses and incentives.
