Khaberni - Media reports have stated that the Spanish club Real Madrid is planning a new change in its attacking line, after reports indicated its willingness to let go of its Brazilian winger Rodrigo, in exchange for signing German star Florian Wirtz from Liverpool.
The Transfer News Live account on X, quoting the Spanish newspaper Defensa Central, reported that the management of Real Madrid is considering a swap deal with the English club, involving Rodrigo's move to Liverpool, in exchange for the inclusion of Wirtz into the ranks of the royal team. The sources indicate that both clubs are open to negotiation, amid a shared desire to rebalance the offensive elements.
It was clarified: "Wirtz (22 years old) is facing difficulties in adapting to the atmosphere of the English league since joining Liverpool, where he has not performed at the level he had shown with his previous team Bayer Leverkusen in the German league."
It was added: "This decline in performance has led the Reds' management to consider new options that might bring vitality back to the team's offensive system, especially after the recent slump in results."
For his part, Rodrigo no longer enjoys the same main role he had in previous seasons with Real Madrid, especially after the emergence of Jude Bellingham and the development of Vinicius Junior’s performance, making the future of the Brazilian player a topic of discussion within the club's management.
It continued: "The potential deal, if realized, could be one of the most prominent movements in the upcoming transfer market, as it brings together two of the biggest clubs in Europe and players with high technical abilities, yet both are in a period that needs a new start."
