Khaberni - The FIFAe 2025 Electronic Football World Cup Finals draw, taken through the official website of the international federation on Wednesday, positioned the national electronic football team – eFootball Console in the second group alongside Morocco, Japan, Poland, Indonesia, and Mexico.
According to the Jordan Football Association, the tournament will be held in the Saudi capital, Riyadh, from December 10 to 13 next year.
According to the tournament system, the 12 participating teams were divided into two groups, each group consisting of 6 teams, and the results of the draw are as follows:
Group One: Saudi Arabia, Italy, Brazil, Chile, Thailand, Turkey.
Group Two: Jordan, Morocco, Japan, Poland, Indonesia, Mexico.
It is worth mentioning that the national electronic football team qualified for the World Cup finals for the first time, after leading its group with 30 points, achieving 10 victories out of 12 matches, before surpassing Uzbekistan in the semi-finals, and defeating Lebanon in the final match, securing its place among the elite global teams participating.
This participation is part of the Jordan Football Association's commitment to unify efforts to keep up with the global spread of this game, by targeting new categories of football fans and followers, in addition to the commercial and marketing development of the game, providing opportunities for local players to showcase their skills and compete at the highest levels.
The Jordan Football Association, in cooperation with the Jordan Esports Federation, registered the Jordanian electronic football team - eFootball, following a series of measures taken by the federation, which included holding workshops and collaborating with the international federation "FIFA" and the Asian federation, where it participated in the first edition of the Asian Electronic Cup, held on the sidelines of the 2023 continental tournament in Doha, along with the fifth West Asia Championship 2024 in Amman.
