Khaberni - Shadi Bani Hani, director of Irbid Health, said that the directorate has started implementing a comprehensive maintenance plan funded by the World Health Organization; for some health centers in Irbid governorate that are owned by the Ministry of Health, where health services in them will be temporarily transferred to other centers; to carry out maintenance work, to ensure the delivery of health services to citizens.
Bani Hani added in a statement on Wednesday, that the goal of the maintenance work is to improve the services provided to citizens, confirming that maintenance has started in several centers within the first phase.
He noted that the Irbid Health Directorate has transferred patients from Al Razi Health Center in Irbid Qasabah to the centers of Al Mughayir, Bushra and Sal Al Awal; to receive health services after the commencement of maintenance work at Al Razi Health Center.
He mentioned that maintenance work has started at Al Sirih Health Center in Bani Obaid district, where therapeutic services were transferred to Al Sirih Association for Cultural Reform, while dental services were transferred in Al Husun Center, and in the Al Nu'aimah area, health services were transferred to Al Nu'aimah Club, and specialized dental services were transferred to Al Husun Health Center.
He added that maintenance work has started at Kafrasum Health Center in Bani Kinanah district, and services were transferred to Kafrasum Charitable Association, and in Al Kourah district.
Bani Hani mentioned that the directorate will devise a plan for maintenance of the Jdeideh Al Awal Health Center, Deir Abi Saeed Comprehensive Center, and Kafr Al Ma’ Water First Center.
He clarified that this is the first phase of the plan, which will later include all the centers that need maintenance and are owned by the Ministry of Health in Irbid.
Bani Hani called on citizens to use the "Hakimi" app for medications, to facilitate their access to medication services (ordering repeat medications monthly), assuring that the directorate has established a plan for the centers to cover all geographical areas in the region, and to ensure the delivery of health services to every citizen regardless of their location.
He said that maintenance work in these centers will take a maximum of 90 days, and citizens will subsequently experience improved health services and a high-quality treatment environment that meets required health standards, pointing out that the temporary transfer of services is a step to ensure a better and more efficient service in the near future.
