Khaberni - The National Earthquake Monitoring Network affiliated with the National Institute for Astronomical and Geophysical Research in Egypt announced the recording of an earthquake this morning, Wednesday, November 12, 2025, in the area west of Cyprus.
The institute stated in an official statement that the earthquake occurred at 04:23:33 AM local time, with a magnitude of 5.30 on the Richter scale, at latitude 34.815 North and longitude 32.518 East, and at a depth of 14 kilometers below the surface of the Earth.

The institute confirmed reports of some citizens in Egypt feeling this quake, noting that the network did not record any human or material losses as a result of this seismic activity.
