Khaberni - The Lebanese Center for Geophysics recorded an earthquake this afternoon felt by residents of Beirut and northern Lebanon, following a morning quake with a magnitude of 5.2 on the Richter scale located west of Cyprus Island.
The Lebanese Civil Defense announced that "its members carried out field missions in the city of Tripoli in northern Lebanon to ensure the safety of citizens who left their homes in anticipation of aftershocks, and to provide assistance to the displaced."
