Khaberni - His Majesty King Abdullah II met in the Vietnamese capital Hanoi, today, Wednesday, with the General Secretary of the Communist Party of Vietnam, To Lam.
The meeting discussed the friendship relations between Jordan and Vietnam, where His Majesty emphasized Jordan's keenness to open new horizons for partnership with Vietnam, particularly in economic, investment, and defense sectors, as well as building bridges to strengthen the ties of friendship between the two peoples.
Opportunities for expanding economic cooperation between the two countries in the pharmaceutical and medical equipment industries, agriculture, halal food, and efforts to enhance food security were also discussed.
The meeting was attended by the Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs and Expatriates, Ayman Safadi, the Director of His Majesty's Office, Engineer Alaa Batayneh, the Minister of Industry, Trade, and Supply, Engineer Yarub Qudah, and the non-resident Jordanian Ambassador to Vietnam, Saeed Radaideh.
