Khaberni - An organization specializing in electric car chargers warned Jordanian electric car users on Wednesday evening about several points that should be taken before the arrival of the weather depression to the kingdom.
Following is the text of the warning post published by the organization:
"Given the weather condition tomorrow and the potential strength of the lightning, it has been advised not to charge your electric car during the first hours of the weather depression due to the strength of lightning and electrical discharges, which might lead to a sudden massive surge in the electrical network causing damage to the charger or the car's electrical system...
- Turn off the charger's breaker during the first 5 hours of the depression
- Charge your car before the depression
- Protect the charger from rain"
