Khaberni - The Royal Environmental Protection Administration, in cooperation with the Food and Drug Foundation and with support from the security devices, seized quantities of adulterated olive oil, during a raid on an apartment in Ramtha city, and also confiscated raw materials and tools used in fraud and manipulation processes.

A responsible source said that the monitoring teams tracked the suspected apartment following information about illegal activity inside, where 26 olive oil tanks were seized, in addition to materials and tools used in mixing and packaging the oil in ways that violate the approved specifications and standards.

The source added that the relevant regulatory authorities continue their work around the clock to control any violations or fraud cases, especially with the start of the olive season.

The source urged citizens to buy from reliable sources, underscored the necessity to inspect the oil before purchasing to ensure its safety and quality, and emphasized the importance of immediately reporting any manipulation or fraud suspicions to protect consumer health and maintain the local market's confidence.
