Khaberni - Under the directives of Professor Dr. Mohammed Al-Widian, President of Amman Arab University, the College of Arts and Sciences at the university held a meeting for its master's and bachelor's degree students, as part of the regular series of meetings organized by the College's Dean's office with the students, who are the cornerstone of the educational process at the university, attended by: Professor Dr. Mohammed Al-Khawaldeh, Dean of the College, Dr. Ahmad Tawalbeh, Deputy Dean of the College, Dr. Mohammed Al-Ajalin, Head of the English Language and Translation Department, Dr. Fatima Kassab, Head of the Basic Human and Scientific Sciences Department, Dr. Iman Basam, Head of the Mathematics Department, and the faculty members in the College.
Dr. Al-Khawaldeh began the meeting by welcoming the students, explaining that the purpose of the meeting is to enhance direct communication with the students and listen to their observations and suggestions to develop the educational process, in addition to enhancing a stimulating and productive educational environment, emphasizing the importance of attending lectures and adhering to the university's instructions and systems.
In turn, Dr. Tawalbeh highlighted the importance of student participation in extracurricular activities and training courses, as they have a positive impact on developing the student's skills and shaping their personality. During the meeting, department heads emphasized the importance of academic advising and its follow-up by faculty members, to ensure providing the necessary support to students and guiding them towards academic excellence.
A number of the college's graduates participated in the meeting, sharing their university experiences and encouraging students to greatly benefit from the academic expertise available at the college, where they answered the students' questions and inquiries related to academic affairs clearly, and the meeting concluded with honoring a group of outstanding students in recognition of their active contribution to the success of the college activities and enhancing the spirit of cooperation and creativity among students.
