Khaberni - concluded at Arab Amman University the activities of the Second Quran People Forum in a ceremony held at the university campus under the generous sponsorship of His Excellency Professor Mohammed bin Hassan Moanis, Deputy Ambassador of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia in Jordan, and attended by: His Excellency Professor Dr. Mohammad Al-Widian, President of Arab Amman University, His Excellency Professor Dr. Abdul Nasser Abu Al-Basal, the honored Sheikh Mohammed bin Ahmed Al-Osaimi, the Islamic Advisor to the Embassy, and Mr. Abdullah bin Yetim Al-Anzi, the General Director of the General Administration for Media and Institutional Communication at the Ministry of Islamic Affairs and Advocacy and Guidance, and the Vice-Presidents and Assistants of the President of the University, Dr. Kifah Al-Soury, Dean of the Faculty of Sharia, Deans of the Colleges, faculty members, and university students.
His Excellency Professor Mohammed bin Hassan Moanis expressed the embassy's pride in sponsoring this blessed Quranic forum, affirming that supporting Quran competitions is an extension of the Kingdom's approach in serving the Book of Allah and the people of the Quran, pointing out that the people of the Quran are Allah's people and His special ones, and that holding such events at Arab Amman University reinforces a sublime message that embodies the care for memorizers, reviving the meanings of the Holy Quran in the hearts of the youth, and appreciated the high organizational efforts provided by the university and the Faculty of Sharia in making this distinguished Quranic event a success, and His Excellency Professor Mohammed affirmed that this competition is not just an academic activity, but a new bridge deepening the brotherly ties between the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan and the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, reflecting the unity of direction in supporting science and scholars, preserving the message of the Holy Quran, and praised the commitment of the leaderships in both brotherly countries to enhance cooperation in religious, cultural and educational fields, which solidifies shared values and strengthens the historical bonds between the two peoples.
In his turn, His Excellency Dr. Abu Al-Basal called to Allah Almighty to preserve both brotherly countries, the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan and the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, asking Allah Almighty to continue bestowing upon them security, stability, and blessings, affirming that the honor of learning, teaching, and learning the Quran is among the most honorable acts with which Allah raises a person's stature, and pointed out that the blessing of the Quran manifests in the efforts of the participants and teachers when they intend it for the sake of Allah, and that seeing the students compete in the fields of Sharia and the Quran is a scene that instills pride and peace of mind, and embodies the role of educational institutions in building a Quranic generation that is aware and steadfast in the values of its religion, and Abu Al-Basal praised the constructive cooperation between the organizing parties, confirming that such initiatives enhance communication and integration between the two brotherly countries in serving the message of moderate Islam and spreading values of moderation and love.
Dr. Al-Widian began his speech by praising Allah, saying: "Praise be to Allah who honored us by serving His noble Book, and granted us the blessing of being affiliated with the people of the Quran, and indeed the Quran People's Forum is not just an academic activity, but it is an educational and humanistic message that transcends the confines of lecture halls to reach the depths of souls, building a generation that is conscious of the values of its religion, contemplates the Quran, acts upon it, and makes it a light for its life and a guide for its behavior", and added Al-Widian that the university's embrace of this forum, and in cooperation with the Embassy of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and the office of the Islamic Advisor, reflects a deep-rooted belief that the integration between the two brotherly countries, Jordan and Saudi Arabia, in serving science and the Quran is the fruit of a historical, cultural, and spiritual relationship that is deeply rooted, and Al-Widian affirmed that Arab Amman University continues to support Quranic and faith initiatives, believing that educational institutions are not only responsible for academic knowledge but also for building the human intellectually, spiritually, and morally, indicating that the university always strives to enhance faith and educational values among its students and the local community through purposeful programs, scientific competitions, and Quranic activities that contribute to instilling the love of the Quran and honoring its service.
At the end of the ceremony, which was moderated by Dr. Bilal Abu Qudoom, a faculty member at the Faculty of Sharia, the winners in various competition categories were honored, which were as follows:
Category (30 Parts) – Level Six
Males First place: Mohammed Bilal Abu Quwaidar, and the second place: Mohammed Abdul Karim Al-Dhayyat
Females First place: Sara Atef Matalqa, and the second place: Bayan Mahmoud Safi
Category (25 Parts) – Level Five
Males First place: Akram Amjad Ubaydat, and the second place: Hamza Mohammed Saleh
Females First place: Alaa Hussein Al-Wahsh
Category (20 Parts) – Level Four
Males First place: Omar Ziad Abu Shamma, and the second place: Hamza Ayman Abu Khudeir
Females First place: Aya Iyad Ibrahim, and the second place: Sondos Abdullah Al-Yamani
Category (15 Parts) – Level Three
Males First place: Mahmoud Amer Al-Shuwaihat, and the second place: Ahmad Amer Bani Nasr
Females First place: Nourhan Marwan Zahida, the second place: Yaqeen Al-Sharif Bakr Ahmad, and the second repeated place Nisreen Yusuf Ali Alian.
Category (10 Parts) – Level Two

It is noted that the competition, which spanned several stages and was supervised by the Islamic Advisor's office at the Embassy of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia in Amman, witnessed the participation of more than (400) competitors from various age groups and levels, distributed over six Quranic levels including the complete memorization of the Holy Quran and multiple parts of it, and during the ceremony, the winners were crowned first places in each level, appreciating their efforts in memorization, mastery, and good performance.
