Khaberni - Amman Al-Ahliyya University signed a memorandum of cooperation with the First Company for Paper and Cardboard Recycling, aiming to introduce new concepts and initiatives in the field of waste management from the source, which contributes to reducing the amount of solid waste resulting from various community activities, and enhancing environmental sustainability practices inside the campus.

The memorandum was signed on behalf of the university by Professor Dr. Sari Hamdan, the president of the university, and on behalf of the company by Mr. Murad Walid Nasr, Vice President of the Board of Directors, in the presence of Mr. Muqadam Arabiyat, Director of Planning and Development at the company.

During the signing ceremony, Professor Dr. Sari Hamdan, the university president, emphasized that signing this memorandum aligns with the university’s vision to enhance concepts of environmental sustainability and social responsibility, referring to the university's ongoing efforts to create an environmentally friendly campus through the application of sustainable practices that reduce waste and support recycling.

For his part, Mr. Murad Walid Nasr, Vice President of the Board of Directors at the First Company for Paper and Cardboard Recycling, expressed his pride in the partnership with Amman Al-Ahliyya University, affirming that this initiative represents a significant step towards enhancing the culture of recycling and sustainable waste management in educational institutions, which contributes to raising environmental awareness and supporting sustainable development efforts in Jordan.
