Khaberni - A military court in Israel witnessed the accused soldiers, allegedly raping a Palestinian prisoner in Sdei Timan prison, being received with applause and cheers by several attendees, as shown by a video circulating on social media and covered by television channels on Wednesday.
This comes days after the resignation of the chief Israeli military prosecutor, Yifat Tomer-Ehrshalomi, following her leak of a video related to the case, which sparked widespread controversy in Israel.
Despite the wide dissemination of the recording, there has been no official comment from the Israeli military or the military judiciary regarding the incident inside the court.
