Jordan Increase in sales of apartments over 150m² by 6 since the beginning of this year

Khaberni - The total number of apartments sold in the kingdom during the first ten months of the current year reached 30,714 apartments, an increase of 0.59% compared to the same period last year, which recorded 30,534 apartments sold, according to the monthly report of the Department of Lands and Survey.

According to the data monitored by "Al-Mamlakah", the total number of apartments sold in October last year was 3,190 apartments, compared to 3,594 apartments in the same month of the previous year, a decrease of 11.2%, and a decrease of 5.7% compared to September, which recorded 3,384 apartments.

According to the report, the number of apartments sold that exceed 150 square meters increased by 6% during the first ten months of the current year, reaching 13,834 apartments, compared with the same period in 2024, which recorded 13,087 apartments.

While in October last year, the number of apartments sold that exceed 150 square meters decreased by 9%, reaching 1,427 apartments, compared to the same month in 2024, which recorded 1,569 apartments.

Moreover, the number of apartments sold that are less than 120 square meters increased by 2% during the first ten months of the year, reaching 9,434 apartments, compared with the same period last year, which recorded 9,231 apartments.

During the past month, the number of apartments sold that are less than 120 square meters showed stability in sales volume, recording sales of 1,083 apartments, compared with the same month in 2024, which recorded 1,088 apartments.

As for the apartments ranging from 120 to 150 square meters, the percentage of sales decreased slightly by 4%, reaching 7,894 apartments, compared with 8,216 apartments sold in the first ten months of 2024, according to the report. In October last year, the percentage of sales decreased by 13%, reaching 812 apartments, compared with 937 apartments sold during the same period in 2024, according to the report.

The Cabinet had issued a decision on November 12, 2024, exempting residential apartments that are more than 150 square meters from 50% of the registration fees, in addition to the previous decision to exempt apartments that are less than 150 square meters by 100% from the registration fees.
