Khaberni - The Chief of the Joint Staff, Major General Yousef Ahmad Al-Hunaity, accompanied by the Chief of General Staff of the Bahrain Defence Force, Lieutenant General Dhiab bin Saqr Al Nuaimi, followed on Tuesday evening the progress of the night tactical exercise "Hashemite Falcons/6", as part of the activities of the graduation of the Advanced Tactical Flying Course/14, at King Abdullah II Air Base.
Major General Al-Hunaity and Lieutenant General Al Nuaimi, in the presence of the Assistant for Operations and Training, and the Commander of the Royal Air Force, listened to briefings presented by those in charge of the exercise, outlining the objectives aimed at enhancing the training and operational efficiency of the pilots and air transport personnel, qualifying them for nighttime and daytime duties, and enhancing their abilities to carry out joint operations and handle emergency situations, including combat search and rescue operations, in a way that enhances coordination and integration between the Royal Air Force and other formations.
The exercise, carried out by the personnel of King Abdullah II Air Base, with participation from the King Abdullah II Special Forces, Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan Quick Reaction Force / Rapid Intervention Brigade, and the local ground defense group of the Royal Air Force, included air stripping, aerial raiding and airborne troop deployment using fast roping and storming of built-up areas, in addition to isolating high-value targets and providing air support, where the participants demonstrated a high level of competence and professionalism in executing the different stages of the exercise.
At the conclusion of the exercise, which was attended by a number of senior officers of the Jordanian Armed Forces, certificates were distributed to the graduates.
