Khaberni - Mohannad Al-Khatib, the spokesman for the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research, announced on Tuesday that the amended system for the Student Support Fund at official Jordanian universities for the year 2025 has eliminated the points allocated for poverty pocket areas.
In an interview with "Al-Mamlaka", Al-Khatib stated that the amended system includes doubling the points for students’ academic standing,
He explained that the number of scholarships allocated for top students in districts has been increased to 8 per district, and noted that 5% of the partial scholarships and loans in each district have been earmarked for students benefiting from the teachers’ honor scholarship who had not previously benefited.
