Khaberni - The technical director of the national football team, Jamal Salameh, emphasizes the importance of the training camp, which starts in Tunisia from tomorrow, Wednesday, and includes two friendly matches against the teams of Tunisia and Mali.
The training camp comes as part of the preparations of the team for participating in the Arab Cup and the World Cup.
During a media briefing on the sidelines of today's training session held by the national team on Tuesday at Amman Stadium, coach Salameh stated that the team aims to gain technical advantages from playing against good teams such as Tunisia and Mali.
He pointed out that the player Tamer Bani Odeh, who joined the team, had been observed in previous periods, and possesses qualities that make him able to prove himself with the team, and is awaiting his presence on the field to assess his capabilities, and try his integration with the team before the World Cup, confirming that the team’s door is open to all players both locally and internationally.
Regarding the player Ahmed Al-Arsan being called up to the team, the coach said that the call-up was a result of his significant effort on the field and he is among the options and the extended list of the team, and his call-up is linked to the absence of other players.
As for the Jordanian player Youssef Saleh, who plays with Cardiff City in the English First Division, he said: "Before there is a technical evaluation for the players, the player must be prepared to represent the team, and anyone who has conditions for representing the team has no place in the team."
The training witnessed the completion of the squad, which included 30 players, namely: Yazeed Abu Layla, Noor Eldeen Bani Atiah, Malek Shalabia, Abdullah Naseeb "Diarra", Yazan Al-Arab, Hossam Abu Zohab, Mohamed Abul-Nadi, Hadi Al-Hourani, Salim Abid, Saad Al-Rossan, Mohanad Abu Taha, Mohamed Abu Hashish, Ali Hajbi, Adham Al-Qurashi, Essam Samiry, Rajai Ayed, Ibrahim Sa'ada, Noor Eldeen Al-Rawabdeh, Amer Jamous, Ahmed Al-Salman, Musa Al-Taamari, Ali Azayzeh, Mohamed Abu Zreiq "Shurrab", Ouda Fakhouri, Tamer Bani Odeh, Ahmed Arsane, Aref Al-Haj, Abdullah Awad and Yazan Al-Neimat.
Player Nizar Rashdan is absent from the squad due to illness.
The national team departs tomorrow to Tunisia, to start the training camp, which includes matches against Tunisia and Mali on the 14th and 18th of this month.
Today, the national team took the opportunity to honor the national team for dwarfs, in light of their achievement in winning the West Asian Championship last month in Amman.
Adel Bani Mustafa, the manager of the dwarfs team, praised the kind gesture made by the football association in honoring the team, stating that this gesture gave the team a moral boost to perform better in the upcoming stage.
The national team, represented by the technical director and several players, distributed gifts to the players of the dwarfs team, including coaches and players.
