The association also plans to offer educational and awareness programs for male and female teachers on how to deal with diabetic students, in order to increase awareness in this area, in addition to targeting awareness, education, screening, and ideal lifestyle in sports clubs, indicating that the mechanism of early diabetes screening focuses on measuring the "blood sugar level" accumulatively over 3 months.

Aldarwish emphasized that the "Blue November" initiative in Al-Ahsa focuses on enhancing health awareness about diabetes, the importance of early screening and prevention of its complications, coinciding with World Diabetes Day, which falls on November 14th each year, as part of the association's efforts to highlight these quality initiatives that contribute to spreading health culture and promoting early screening, in line with its vision to build a community aware of its health and lifestyle. The association launched the "Early Diabetes Screening" initiative, which continues throughout the month of November, including visits to schools, and coordination with the health cluster in Al-Ahsa, to screen 70,000 male and female students.
The pump costs 55,000 Riyals
He pointed out that the association, in cooperation with the "Diabeter" center in Al-Ahsa, which specializes in treating type 1 diabetes patients affiliated with the Al-Ahsa health cluster, is about to launch the "Insulin Pump Distribution" initiative to help stabilize glucose levels. The price of the pump is estimated at 55,000 Riyals, and it requires annual spare parts at 25,000 Riyals, including various types of pumps, such as "wireless" pumps.
