Khaberni - As the economic and living situation in Iran worsens, Iranian President Masoud Bazshkian emphasized the need to solve the living crisis.

Bazshkian said during a speech he delivered on Tuesday in a public session of the parliament: "We cannot govern while the people are starving"

He also considered that "this year's budget must be organized in such a way that the livelihood of the citizens takes priority"

He saw that "if the living issue is not resolved, it means that the government has deviated from the right path," according to him.

"Not all sins are mine," to that, he asked the parliament to help him in managing resources and capabilities related to living matters. Bazshkian said, "I bear my sin, but not all sins are my sins alone.. other institutions and bodies must also admit their mistakes"

"The death of the guide" and the Iranian president saw that the Supreme Leader Ali Khamenei constitutes the pillar of the state. He said: "During the war with Israel, I did not feel any fear of any incident occurring, but my only fear was that any misfortune might befall the Supreme Leader; then we would start fighting among ourselves, and there would be no need for the Israeli entity to come."

These statements came after Bazshkian had warned more than once recently about the deterioration of the economic situation in the country and the necessity of reforms and taking effective steps, and the impact of Western sanctions on the economy.

It should be noted that the Western sanctions imposed on Iran for years have had deep effects on the economy, especially with the decline in oil exports and the devaluation of the local currency, as the Iranian rial lost more than 59% of its value, while inflation rose to more than 40%.
