Yasmin ElKhatib opens fire on Karim Mahmoud Abdel Aziz after the divorce

Khaberni - In a striking post on "Facebook," media personality Yasmin El-Khatib commented on the separation of actor Karim Mahmoud Abdel Aziz from his wife Ann Al-Rifai after fourteen years of marriage.

The past few hours have seen many reactions following the announcement of the separation of actor Karim Mahmoud Abdel Aziz from his wife Ann Al-Rifai, in a news story that topped the search trends on Tuesday morning, November 11, 2025, following the circulation of various posts regarding divorce details and rumors of Karim’s linkage with actress Dina El-Sherbiny.

Yasmin El-Khatib wrote through her official page on "Facebook": "A divorce on an Instagram story after 14 years of marriage, what an insult and what denial and what betrayal!"

El-Khatib added in another post: "What’s astonishing is that Bosy Shalaby suffered a similar and perhaps greater injustice, yet no one dares to speak a word of truth, and blames Mahmoud Abdel Aziz for leaving her to face an uncertain fate after his death, whether he intentionally didn’t record the marriage or forgot to register it."

Meanwhile, actress Dina El-Sherbiny ignored her name being thrown into the crisis and continued promoting her new series "Etnen Gherna" on her "Instagram" account, without any comment on what was circulated about her alleged relationship with Karim Mahmoud Abdel Aziz.

With the escalation of discussions across social media, opinions among the public were divided between those who expressed sympathy for Ann Al-Rifai and those who called for not rushing to judge Karim Mahmoud Abdel Aziz, pointing out that the details of marital life are only known by the parties involved.

In the midst of this interaction, a number of artists and media personalities expressed their support and solidarity for Ann Al-Rifai: Basma Boussil wrote via her account, "My heart is with you and God will compensate you for the better."

Rodwa El-Sherbiny directly messaged saying: "The genuine and respectable, daughter of good people."

Mai Omar was among the first to announce their support, posting on "Facebook": "You deserve all the good that’s coming, and there’s still a better and more beautiful life ahead, God willing."

As for Basma Wehbe, she appeared in a video saying: "Watch them, see what their end looks like because they wronged you, all the stars of Egypt love you and stand with you, and you are a well-raised daughter of good people."

Amid supporters and dissenters, public interaction with the divorce case of Karim Mahmoud Abdel Aziz and Ann Al-Rifai continues, at a time when both parties officially maintain silence about the details of the disagreement that ended a marriage lasting more than a decade.
