Khaberni - His Highness Prince Hussein bin Abdullah II, Crown Prince and Deputy to His Majesty the King, chaired on Tuesday a periodic meeting of the National Council for Future Technology to discuss the progress of ongoing projects.

The meeting, which was attended by Prime Minister Jaafar Hassan, chairman of the council, reviewed the initiatives of the National Council for Future Technology in the fields of artificial intelligence in education, government services, and the use of technology to address traffic congestion.

The meeting discussed Jordan's preparations to host the conference and exhibition on Progress, Innovation, and Technology in Cybersecurity, which will take place from November 18 to 20 under the patronage of His Highness the Crown Prince at the King Hussein bin Talal Convention Center in the Dead Sea area.

His Highness the Crown Prince emphasized the importance of continuing to implement the council's initiatives and developing them in line with feedback from users and service recipients.

It is noted that the conference and exhibition on Progress, Innovation, and Technology in Cybersecurity is a specialized regional platform in cybersecurity aimed at consolidating Jordan's position in the field of cybersecurity in response to technological advances and future technologies. This year, the event includes several activities: the Dot Cyber Summit, the international Armitheon competition, an artificial intelligence exhibition, a live hacking contest, and a Cyber Drill exercise for the main sectors of critical infrastructure.
