Khaberni - Minister of Tourism and Antiquities Dr. Emad Hajjazin approved the request from a tourism office for a tax exemption for the artistic event performed by Lebanese artist Haifa Wehbe in Amman from taxes and fees.
According to the document, Hajjazin directed the approval of the exemption from income and sales tax, pointing out that the instructions allowed for exemptions for concerts or festivals held within the kingdom, for the purpose of achieving economic or tourist returns
According to the document, Hajjazin added that the exemptions are subject to specific conditions in coordination with the Ministry of Finance, and are granted after studying the feasibility and the extent of the event's contribution to invigorating the tourist movement and increasing hotel occupancy rates in the host area.
