Khaberni - The global architecture and design organization (The Architecture Community) has announced the selection of Jordanian academic Dr. Jasser Khalaf Al-Mahasneh as a member of the international jury for the World Design Awards 2025, a prominent global award celebrating excellence and innovation in the fields of architecture, urban design, interior design, and construction technology.
The World Design Awards are prestigious global platforms that honor leading projects in the fields of design, innovation, and architecture. The jury includes a group of experts, professors, and designers from various countries around the world, and the awards are given annually to projects that meet the highest standards of creativity, sustainability, and design quality.
Dr. Al-Mahasneh will be part of the jury assessing between 15 to 20 international projects nominated for the awards during the period from November 12 to November 27, 2025, following a meticulous evaluation mechanism that ensures transparency and fairness in choosing the winning projects.
It is worth mentioning that Dr. Jasser Khalaf Al-Mahasneh holds a Ph.D. in Environmental Design and Planning from Virginia Tech, USA, and currently serves as the director of the Engineering Projects Unit at Jordan University of Science and Technology.
He has notable research and professional contributions in the areas of Building Information Modeling (BIM), digital transformation in urban design, and sustainable development in the built environment. He has also participated in judging several academic projects and awards, in addition to supervising university initiatives in innovation and design leadership.
The inclusion of Dr. Al-Mahasneh in the World Design Awards 2025 jury panel is an honor for Jordanian academic expertise at international forums and an indicator of the prestigious status of national competencies in the global design arena.
