AlHajaya We do not accept that public money be a feast competed over by beneficiaries

Khaberni - Deputy Arwa Al-Hajaya stated, "Public money is not a feast for beneficiaries to compete over," emphasizing the need for a transparent battle against corruption and the avoidance of rolling over figures from one year to the next.

Al-Hajaya added, during the discussion of the public budget bill in its first reading today, Tuesday, that there is nothing new in the budget for the year 2026 except the cover, while the essence remains unchanged.

She noted that the deficit still exceeds two billion dinars, and that the expected growth rates do not exceed the bounds of "paper optimism," as she described it.
