Khaberni - During a Parliamentary session held on Tuesday, several deputies called on the council president Mazen Al-Qadi to intervene and request Finance Minister Abdul Hakim Al-Shibli to raise his voice and speak slowly when delivering his speech on the General Budget for the year 2026, due to his low volume and unclear speech in the hall.
In response, Minister Al-Shibli said, according to Khaberni: "Alright, but there is also side chatter and loud voices inside the hall," referring to the noise from the deputies' sidebar conversations during the session.
Al-Qadi urged the deputies that speaking under the dome should be done through him alone.
