Khaberni - The Director of Education for the University district in the capital Amman, Dr. Mazen Hadiras, said today, Tuesday, that studies resumed as usual in the private school which experienced a chemical leak inside the science laboratory days ago, assuring that the situation is under control.
Hadiras stated in a comment to "Khaberni" that only seven cases were on the mend and left the hospital today after their conditions stabilized and their health situations were found to be good.
The relevant authorities continue to investigate the circumstances of the incident, which led to several teachers and students experiencing breathing difficulties inside the laboratory.
The Ministry of Environment clarified in a previous statement that the leaked substance was "ammonia," and the necessary environmental measures were taken at the site of the incident, in coordination with the Civil Defense and Public Security.
