Khaberni - The Resistance Security Agency in Khan Yunis Governorate announced that the security forces successfully executed a complex security operation that led to the dismantling of an espionage intelligence system suspected of being used by the occupation forces to collect information about resistance elements and citizens, and contributing to the exacerbation of civilians' suffering during the war.

The statement from the Resistance Security mentioned that investigations revealed organized communication between a number of traders and initiators on social media with unknown funders who were later identified as Israeli intelligence officers disguised with names of fictitious and changing associations. The statement explained that these individuals exploited humanitarian, medical, and relief projects and field assets (vehicles, warehouses, apartments, offices...) to collect information about citizens and smuggle suspicious goods or provide cover for informational espionage and field movements on behalf of enemy intelligence, in addition to contributing to exacerbating economic and financial crises.

The statement added that the security forces were able to "neutralize this threat" and protect the citizens, and the related funds and assets were confiscated and the individuals involved were arrested in the Gaza Strip.

The statement issued a call to traders and initiators urging them to be aware of this type of suspicious activities, emphasizing the dangers of dealing with unreliable entities or unlicensed associations, and the necessity to immediately report to the Resistance Security and the relevant agencies about any suspicious communications or directions received from any domestic or foreign entity. The statement also held "any violator" accountable for the legal and revolutionary consequences associated with this.

The statement concluded with a commitment to continue the confrontation against the “enemy's leaders, its intelligence, and its agents," announcing the intention of the agency to “expose all fictitious associations and the names of those in charge” in the coming days.
