Khaberni - The Israeli army announced this evening, Monday, that it had assassinated three Hezbollah activists in operations carried out in southern Lebanon.
The Israeli army spokesperson stated, "Earlier today, the army attacked in the Srifa area of southern Lebanon, eliminating a person named Samir Ali Faqih," claiming that he was involved in smuggling Hezbollah weapons to various areas inside Lebanon.
The spokesman added, in a post on the "X" platform: "The army also attacked yesterday in the areas of Houmin Fouqa and Sawwane in southern Lebanon, killing two Hezbollah members," noting that since early November, the occupying army has assassinated 15 Hezbollah members.
Lebanese sources reported today that the Israeli army launched airstrikes on several areas in southern and eastern Lebanon, following the martyrdom of a Lebanese person in a drone strike conducted by an Israeli drone this morning.
The Lebanese news agency reported that "the Israeli warplanes renewed their aerial aggression, targeting in several bouts the Mahmoudiya area, the Rafi mountain and the Jarmak in Nabatieh (south)."
In Nabatieh as well, "enemy aviation carried out a series of raids targeting the areas of Qatirani, Burghuz, and Rayhan," according to the agency.
In eastern Lebanon, the agency reported that "hostile war aviation conducted two raids on the outskirts of the eastern range in the district of Baalbek."
It clarified that one of the raids was on the outskirts of the town of Nabi Sheet, and the second near the Shaara locality close to Janta.
An Israeli drone also targeted a small truck in Hermel, with no injuries recorded, amid a density of drones in the city's skies, according to the agency.
The Israeli drone aviation flew intensively and at a low altitude, according to the agency, over villages and towns in the northeast of Tyre, especially along the banks of the Litani River from Qasmia to Tairfelsieh.
It added that an Israeli drone targeted open land in the Duhur area outside the town of Hamiry in the district of Tyre, with no injuries occurring.
In the morning, an Israeli drone targeted a vehicle on the “Sarafand-Al-Bisariya" highway (south), resulting in the martyrdom of one person, without identifying them.
The Lebanese Ministry of Health, in a statement, confirmed that "the enemy Israeli raid on a car in the town of Al-Bisariya led to the martyrdom of a citizen."
These raids represent the latest Israeli violation of the ceasefire agreement in effect with Hezbollah since November 27, 2024.
