Khaberni - The Chief of the Joint Staff, Major General Yousef Ahmed Al-Huneiti, monitored today, Monday, the proceedings of the mobilization exercise "Whinny of the War Horses", executed by the Martyr King Abdullah I 90th Mechanized Brigade, one of the formations of the Eastern Military Region, in the designated training fields.
Major General Al-Huneiti listened to military briefings presented by the region’s commander and those responsible for the exercise, which covered the general concept and training objectives, and the operational hypotheses that the exercise was based on, aligning with the combat training system and the challenges imposed by field conditions in border areas.
The exercise included activities that simulated the execution of a defensive battle, utilizing light and medium weapons, anti-tank weapons and mortars, as well as reconnaissance and attack drones, alongside execution of engineering explosions.
The exercise aimed to test the readiness level of the participating units, and their ability to plan and execute under conditions similar to conventional and unconventional operations, in addition to evaluating the efficiency of support weapons in the field, their ability to employ drone systems and develop their use, execute information operations and psychological operations, and the mechanism of dealing with electronic jamming sources.
At the conclusion of the exercise, the Chief of the Joint Staff met with participants, in the presence of a number of senior officers of the armed forces, conveying to them the greetings and pride of His Majesty the Supreme Commander of the Armed Forces, King Abdullah II, and His Royal Highness the Crown Prince, appreciating the outstanding efforts and high morale that reflected the level of training and discipline reached by the formations and units of the armed forces.
