Khaberni - A study published in 2020 explained that consuming half a tablespoon of olive oil daily was associated with a 14% decrease in the risk of heart disease.
With a review of data from over 90,000 people over 28 years, it was found that those who consumed greater amounts of olive oil had a nearly 19% reduced risk of death from heart disease and cardiovascular diseases compared to those who consumed less.
This benefit is attributed to the presence of monounsaturated fatty acids, antioxidants, and vitamin E in olive oil, which help reduce inflammation and damage caused by free radicals.
