With his two goals against Al-Najma, star Salem Al-Dawsari continued to make history with Al-Hilal, as he became the team's all-time top scorer in the Saudi Professional League, according to the Saudi newspaper Al Riyadh on its official X platform.
Al-Dawsari has raised his tally to 83 goals in 282 matches wearing the Al-Hilal jersey in the league, surpassing the previous record held by French striker Bafetimbi Gomis, who scored 81 goals in only 106 matches.
Meanwhile, Algerian star Riyad Mahrez led Al-Ahli to a victory against Al-Ittihad in the "Jeddah Derby" held at "Al-Jawhara Al-Mushaa" stadium, as part of the same round's competitions, and scored the only goal of the match.
