Khaberni - Zamalek Club's channel launched a fierce attack on "the White" former player Ahmed Sayed Zizo following the Egyptian Super Cup final.
Mohamed Abou El-Ela, presenter of "Zamalkawy" on Zamalek Club's channel, sharply criticized Ahmed Sayed Zizo, star of Al Ahly club, for his behavior during the award ceremony of the Egyptian Super Cup in UAE, after ignoring shaking hands with Hisham Nasr, vice president of Zamalek and head of the club's delegation in the tournament.
Abou El-Ela commented that the scene on the podium was negative, explaining: "Zizo, while receiving his medal, ignored engineer Hisham Nasr, although he was in the official line for handing the awards, which was inappropriate, especially at a major occasion broadcast live in front of millions of viewers."
He added that the situation required a more refined behavior from a player of Zizo's stature, especially in the presence of prominent figures such as the Minister of Youth and Sports Dr. Ashraf Sobhy, representatives of the football union and engineer Hany Abo Rida, considering what happened as unacceptable in this formal context.
Abou El-Ela continued his remarks by saying that what astonishes him is that Zizo himself owes much of his career to Zamalek Club, which was the reason for his rising star and fame, saying: "Zizo reached what he is today thanks to Zamalek Club, from when he was an obscure player until he became a star of the league and the best player in Africa, all achieved while wearing the Zamalek jersey."
The program presenter pointed out the double standards in dealing with players' actions, noting that Zamalek players such as Shikabala and Dunga faced penalties in similar situations, while similar actions by other players went without response.
And finally, Abou El-Ela ended his talk with a direct message to Zizo saying: "Do not deny the favor, as Zamalek Club made your name and value, and its fans supported you and stood behind you, so it is not appropriate to ignore the club's representative who gave you all that in an official scene like this."
