Khaberni - An Israeli scientific team led by Professor Amit Miller from the Technion Institute and Dr. Nraj Soni achieved a breakthrough that is leading to a revolution in biological and medical research.
Professor Miller led research based on the use of advanced synthetic nanopores which allow for the identification of proteins through their unique "fingerprint." The research uses artificial intelligence tools to analyze proteins very quickly, enabling almost immediate recognition, counting, and classification of proteins.
This technology opens the field for important medical uses, including early cancer diagnosis and precise treatment identification based on simple samples such as blood tests, as well as enhancing scientific research capabilities. The project has received European support.
