Khaberni - Jerash Civil Defense managed to deal with a fire that consumed six forest dunums and two owned dunums in the Sakib area, where they were able to extinguish the flames in a record time.
The site of the fire was visited by the Jerash Police Director, Brigadier Raafat Al-Maaytah, alongside Colonel Alaa Obaidat, Jerash Civil Defense Director, and the district commissioner of Almaaradh, Reda Al-Ghaith, together with Jerash Agriculture Director Ola Al-Mahasneh and a number of staff from the Jerash Agriculture Directorate.
It is noted that the civil defense teams were able to control the fire very quickly, for fear it would spread to the surrounding forest areas, under the directives and supervision of Civil Defense Director Alaa Obaidat.
