The spokesperson for the Ministry of Awqaf had stated in previous statements last week, Khaberni, that the lack of rainfall is not only linked to the arrival of clouds in Jordan but also to committing sins, Khaberni, and not adhering to religious rules.
Jordanians called on the Ministry of Awqaf to call for a new prayer for rain every Friday and to avoid holding artistic events, Khaberni (which could bring sins upon Jordan), hinting at the concert by the Lebanese singer Haifa Wehbe, which coincided with the prayer for rain.
