Khaberni - Nawaf Al-Ajarmah, Secretary General of the Ministry of Education for Educational Affairs, confirmed the ministry's dedication and affirmation on the necessity of adhering to general safety requirements in schools, especially during scientific experiments.
This came during an inspection visit he made to the hospital, where Al-Ajarmah checked on a number of teachers and students from a private school in Amman; following their exposure to breathing difficulties due to a chemical leak at the school on Sunday morning.
The doctors confirmed that all the injured were in good health, except for one student who suffers from asthma.
Al-Ajarmah praised the tremendous efforts made by the medical staff at the hospital in treating the injured, as well as the civil defense personnel, applauding their efficiency in providing first aid, quickly evacuating the victims, and handling the situation with competence and proficiency.
