Khaberni - Over 125 years, which is about a quarter of a century, Arabs have received 12 Nobel Prizes, and the Arab population is currently around half a billion. It's worth noting that the Netherlands has a population of 18 million people and has won 21 Nobel Prizes. Arabs who have received Nobel Prizes hold foreign citizenships and have received financial and moral support from the countries that granted them citizenship, providing all the material and logistical capabilities that enabled them to achieve and reach the global stage. It is unfortunate that Arab countries have not utilized their material resources to support the development and scientific research and modern laboratories, and have been preoccupied with their internal religious conflicts, civil wars, and battles that have devastated us and our humanity and civilization, not to mention the ideological, religious, and political divisions among the Arab countries and their hostility towards each other, leading us to a state where our thoughts are occupied with food, drink, councils of revenge, and a match schedule that has devastated us and our creed, and wiped out our history filled with pride and dignity.
On the other hand, some preachers or trivial scholars and sheikhs emerge, who have no connection with science, thought, and literature, and have convinced us that the Muslims are God's chosen people, and that Allah has chosen us over His other creations. Our mere existence is to worship God, while science, research, development, and industry are not our tasks or goals. Our work is to obey God and His Messenger, while it is the responsibility of other nations to secure our daily sustenance, manufacture our weapons, and provide our food and drink. These poisoned ideas have been ingrained in the minds of our lost and confused youth, who should have been supported by all available means to elevate our nation intellectually, culturally, and scientifically. They forgot the words of our noble Prophet who said: There is no good in a nation that eats from what it does not grow, wears what it does not produce, and whose weapons are in the hands of its enemies.
Therefore, it is incumbent upon contemporary thinkers and writers to confront those nonsenses, refute them, and fight them so that this nation may return to its former glory and distinguished history and to distance the foolish and ignorant who appear on media screens, and to hold accountable anyone who dares to change the creed and the solid thought of this nation. History teaches us that days of nations rotate, and a day will come when Islam will be honored and esteemed as it was before, but we need to change ourselves and our condition so that destiny will grant us what we desire.
