Khaberni - The Hashemite Jordanian Charity Organization, in coordination with the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Expatriates Affairs and the Jordan Armed Forces – the Arab Army, today dispatched a new aid convoy towards the territory of the Syrian Arab Republic, including 16 trucks loaded with prefabricated houses, medical supplies, and medicines, continuing the Kingdom's efforts to support the Syrian brothers and assist them.
The Secretary General of the Hashemite Jordanian Charity Organization, Hussein Al-Shibli, said in a press statement that the convoy, which was sent in cooperation with the Syrian government, includes ready-to-use prefabricated houses to provide safe shelter for families who have lost their homes, in addition to a shipment of medicines and medical supplies to meet urgent health needs in several areas. Cooperation was made with organizations such as Hand of Help, Med Global, and Hikma Pharmaceuticals Jordan to secure these donations and distribute them to the deserving through the Syrian Red Crescent in the Sweida governorate and IDP shelters in Daraa, who were affected by the difficult humanitarian conditions caused by the unfortunate events that recently occurred in the Sweida governorate.
On September 11th, 2025, Jordan, along with the State of Qatar, will send a humanitarian aid convoy as part of a joint Arab effort to support Syria in facing the conditions created by the unfortunate events in the governorate.
