Khaberni - Engineer Abdel-Rahim Al-Baqa'i, former member of the executive office of the Jordanian Red Crescent

How can Israel easily recognize its dead while Gazans struggle to bid farewell to their loved ones?

In every war on Gaza, two contradictory scenes emerge that summarize the tragedy of human justice in this world:

In Israel, the identity of the dead is determined within hours or days, and the bodies are precisely handed over to their families.

In Gaza, however, thousands of martyrs are buried under the dirt namelessly, as identifying them has become almost impossible.

This is not a coincidence, but a result of huge disparities in capabilities, infrastructure, international support, and concern for human value.

Every Israeli soldier undergoes preemptive collection of DNA samples, precise photos, dental records, and fingerprints stored at the Abu Kabir Forensic Institute in Tel Aviv… which is one of the most advanced centers in the region.

Israel has an organized medical infrastructure and

possesses a network of equipped morgues, cold rooms, and criminal laboratories digitally connected to the Ministry of Defence and the Ministry of the Interior.

In Gaza, loss is not just ordinary death. It is the absence of a name, a face, and an entire body. It is an indescribable grief, endless wailing, and ceaseless tears when people see the bodies of their martyrs hardened by the hands of criminal occupiers for no other reason than because they are Palestinians longing for liberation and to build a state to embrace them so that breaking bones, skulls, and limbs, and tearing hearts out of bodies, there isn’t a single drop of blood that could lead to this martyr or another…

Israel has been ruthless in everything, torturing prisoners, breaking people’s hearts, trampling, and tearing apart the United Nations charter... and erasing what was known as freedoms, democracy, and human rights…

Why is it difficult to recognize the bodies of martyrs in Gaza…

There is massive destruction of health facilities…

More than 90% of the hospitals, morgues, and laboratories in Gaza are out of service due to direct bombing or lack of fuel.

Most bodies are transferred to temporary facilities where preservation or examination conditions are not available.
