Khaberni - A woman entered a famous jewelry store in Ahmedabad, India, to carry out a bizarre robbery attempt using chili pepper powder, but the shop owner's reaction completely shocked her.
The incident occurred on November 3rd at 12:30 PM, and surveillance cameras captured the woman, who covered her face with a scarf, arriving at the gold and silver store near the vegetable market in the Ranib area, claiming to be a regular customer.
After a moment, she sprayed the pepper powder towards the shop owner's eyes in an attempt to confuse him and steal the contents of the store, but her plan did not succeed, as the pepper did not reach his eyes.
Upon realizing her intent, the shop owner quickly got up and delivered about 20 slaps in 25 seconds, before jumping over to the display counter and pulling her out of the store, continuing to slap her even outside the shop.
The incident quickly spread on social media, gaining significant attention from followers due to the man's unexpected reaction.
The local police said that the shop owner refused to file an official complaint against the woman, but the investigation began based on surveillance recordings to try to identify her and her whereabouts.
The police confirmed that they met with the victim personally twice to obtain his statement and encourage him to file a report, but he insisted on not wanting to pursue any legal action. Nevertheless, the investigations have not stopped, as the police are reviewing CCTV recordings and identifying all possible details to locate the suspect.
