Ivette Cooper visited Jordan and met during her visit with King Abdullah II and Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs and Expatriates Ayman Safadi.
Khaberni - British Foreign and Development Minister Ivette Cooper said she saw during her visit to Jordan last week, warehouses filled with humanitarian aid still waiting to enter Gaza, although families in the Gaza Strip are still suffering from hunger.
Cooper called in a post on her official "X" page for all crossings leading to Gaza to be opened, more restrictions on aid entry to be lifted, and for the United Nations and NGOs to be allowed to increase their life-saving efforts, as part of the US-led peace plan.
This statement comes at a time when Gaza is facing a severe humanitarian crisis amid the ongoing Israeli blockade, while the British Foreign Minister urged the international community to take swift steps to enable aid delivery to those in need in the strip.
