Khaberni - Hania Shomot, director of the Charitable Drug Bank, announced on Saturday about the implementation of a special drug traceability law on all pharmaceutical companies soon.
Shomot explained that the traceability will include the drug from its production stages until it reaches the consumer, with the goal of avoiding counterfeiting and smuggling, according to the kingdom.
She added that through tracking the drug, it can be ensured that the product found in pharmacies and in the hands of consumers is from the original manufacturing company and not counterfeit or smuggled.
