Khaberni - The Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Expatriates announced today, Saturday, on holding a competition to select diplomatic attachés and integrate them into its staff.
The Ministry stated in its announcement that applicants must be Jordanian nationals, and must hold a minimum of a Bachelor's degree from a university recognized by official authorities with at least a 'Good' rating.
It is also required that the academic qualification be in one of the following fields: Law, Political Science, Economics, Business Administration, Public Administration, Administrative Sciences, Strategic Planning, Strategic Studies, Policy Studies, Refugee and Migration Studies, Crisis Management, or any related field as mentioned above, in addition to proficiency in English along with Arabic. For this purpose, the applicant must provide a certificate not older than two years proving proficiency in English by passing either the TOEFL (with a score of at least 74) or the IELTS (with a score of at least 6) or passing the English language exam at the Language Institute of the Jordanian University (with a score of at least 75%).
Applicants must also not exceed the age of 25 years at the time of applying for the competition for holders of a Bachelor's degree, and 29 years for holders of a Master's or PhD degree.
Additionally, they must meet the hiring conditions set forth in the Human Resources Management System in the public sector which is in effect.
Applicants who meet the above conditions will undergo several written examinations according to a specified schedule, followed by a personal interview for those who qualify, where the successful ones will be selected according to the competition results.

Applications for the position must be submitted on the electronic platform https://jordandiplomats.gov.jo) during the period from 2025/10/5 to 2025/11/18, noting that any application that does not meet the above requirements will not be considered after the specified period, provided that all required documents listed below are uploaded onto the platform:
1. CV
2. Valid non-conviction certificate at the time of application
3. Certified copy of academic certificates plus an equivalence certificate duly authenticated for graduates of Arab and foreign universities
4. Certified copy of university transcript
5. Certified copy of personal ID card
6. Any of the English proficiency certificates mentioned above
7. A recent personal photo matching the specifications of a passport photo
