Khaberni - An Israeli security official said today, Saturday, that American forces are participating in overseeing and coordinating aid to Gaza with Israel, as part of President Donald Trump's ceasefire plan.

The Washington Post reported on Friday that the civil-military coordination center led by the United States would oversee the entry of aid into Gaza instead of Israel.

The newspaper quoted an American official and sources familiar with the matter as saying that Israel is part of the process, but the civilian-military coordination center will decide what aid enters Gaza and how.

The Israeli security official said that the Israeli agencies will continue to participate in setting policies and supervision and monitoring with decisions being made jointly, and that the integration of the coordination committee is already underway.
