Khaberni - Settlers set fire to a house east of Ramallah on Saturday, resulting in injuries, while occupation forces carried out new assaults and invasions in Jenin and Hebron in the West Bank.
Al Jazeera's correspondent reported that settlers attacked the house during the night, and mentioned that the family managed to escape through the back door of the house after several members suffered from suffocation.
Local sources reported that settlers set fire to a house in the village of Abu Falah, northeast of Ramallah, at dawn on Saturday, causing parts of it to ignite and injuring several family members with suffocation cases before they managed to escape.
Local Palestinian sources from the village confirmed that later, occupation forces invaded the area around the house, firing bullets towards the residents present without reporting injuries.
In Hebron, a citizen was injured with wounds and bruises, on Saturday, following an assault by Israeli occupation forces who beat him in the town of Yatta south of Hebron, in the West Bank.
Security and local sources told "Wafa" that occupation forces stormed the house of the citizen Osama Tarad Abu Arram in the town of Yatta, and assaulted him and his family members brutally, causing him to suffer wounds and bruises which led him to seek medical treatment at Yatta hospital, and his injuries were described as moderate.
On another front, occupation forces set up several military barriers at the entrances of Hebron and its towns, villages, and camps, alongside closing several main and secondary roads with iron gates, cement blocks, and earthen barriers.
As for the city of Jenin, Israeli occupation forces invaded, at dawn on Saturday, the town of Ya'bad southwest of the city.
The mayor of Ya'bad, Amjad Atatra, reported that occupation forces invaded the town and raided several houses, forcing their owners to evacuate them and turned them into military barracks and closed commercial shops at the entrance of the town.
He added that the occupation forces closed the road leading to the Tarum area north of the town with earthen barriers.
