Khaberni - The US Military Center in Kiryat Gat (CMCC) in Israel, responsible for supervising the implementation of the ceasefire agreement in the Gaza Strip, will take over the responsibility of entering humanitarian aid into the region, instead of the Israeli army.

This was reported by "The Washington Post" on Friday evening citing a US source.

The report stated that the responsibility of the United States for the introduction of aid to Gaza was completed today. The source added, "The Israelis are part of the discussions, but the decisions are in the hands of the United States"

Several other sources familiar with the details mentioned that this move makes Israel the second most important factor in making decisions about the nature and quantity of aid sent to Gaza.

The main American headquarters in Kiryat Gat, central Israel, includes representatives from 40 different countries and organizations. Tim Hawkins, spokesman for the US Central Command, stated, "One of the advantages of having all the representatives together is that it allows us to distinguish between the main axes and understand the field needs."

According to a Washington Post report, the issue of rebuilding the Gaza Strip has also become a subject of dispute. Several senior advisers from the Trump administration have pushed for a plan "to quickly establish up to 16 safe clusters behind the existing Israeli borders in Gaza."

According to the report, Palestinians who undergo screening in these areas will be able to live, obtain protection, food, and other humanitarian aid—possibly for years—while Hamas is disarmed and will not be part of the future government in the region.

According to a source "familiar with the administration's thinking," Jared Kushner, Trump's son-in-law and advisor, who contributed with the special envoy Steve Whitcov to the hostage deal and ceasefire, "wants to see a degree of success resulting from the Israeli army's control over part of the region." According to him, the presence of Hamas in the rest of the Gaza Strip poses an obstacle to its reconstruction.

Regarding the management of the American headquarters in Kiryat Gat, where representatives from many countries are present, the report cited officials at the headquarters or informed about its management, describing a situation where decision-making processes sometimes delay due to the need for officials to present them to their widespread headquarters in different countries for approval.

One of the employees told the American newspaper, "Besides that, I don't think they have enough money to do anything so far." Another source spoke about a visit he made to the site: "There were a lot of people sitting in front of computers, puzzled."
