Musk said the company is "quite comfortable" with allowing owners of the fully autonomous driving system to send text messages while driving.

Currently, Tesla's full autonomous driving system - known as "FSD" - offers a second-level autonomous driving.
Musk promises to provide at least a fourth-level autonomous driving, where the driver can completely leave the control to the car while the car performs all driving tasks on their behalf, within a short period of time.
Although he mentioned that "Tesla" will review its safety data first, he did not discuss the steps the company is taking to enable text messaging while driving, and whether it is actually discussing the legal aspects of this with regulatory bodies.
Regarding the "Cybercab", Musk said that the production of the automated taxi will begin by April of next year. Since it is designed to be autonomous, it will not have pedals, a steering wheel, or even side mirrors.
He explained that the manufacturing process of the "Cybercab" differs significantly from traditional car production and is more akin to manufacturing phones. Therefore, he believes that the company will be able to produce one unit every 10 seconds.
