Amazon Launches New LowCost Product Application

Khaberni - On Friday, Amazon expanded its low-cost e-commerce service to include 14 additional markets.

Amazon will name this service "Amazon Bazaar," a move aimed at competing with Chinese companies, including "Shein" and "Tmall".

This expansion comes at a time when comprehensive tariffs imposed by U.S. President Donald Trump on imports negatively affect consumer morale, especially among low-income groups who are constantly looking for cheaper deals, according to "Reuters".

Amazon will launch a separate application for the "Amazon Bazaar" service, similar to the "Amazon Haul" application.

The new application will offer most products at prices under $10, with some as low as $2, ranging from household goods to fashion, according to Amazon E-commerce.

The company stated that the new markets for the low-cost e-commerce service include Kuwait, Qatar, Bahrain, Oman, Hong Kong, the Philippines, Taiwan, Peru, Ecuador, Argentina, Costa Rica, the Dominican Republic, Jamaica, and Nigeria.

The new application will be available for iOS and Android systems, and Amazon stated that additional markets will be able to access the application in the coming months.

In other markets, Amazon launched the "Amazon Haul" application under the name "Bazaar," which was available through Amazon's main shopping application. This version also remains available in Saudi Arabia, the UAE, and Mexico.

Amazon's use of two names for the same low-cost product range may be confusing, but it sees the different names as "better aligning with local language and cultural preferences".
